The Rav, as a child, secretly learned Tanya with his tutor. Until Rav Chaim, the Zaide, asked the Rav about his learning, and words of holy fire, of the Tanya, spouted forth from the Rav. Thats when Rav Chaim got the Rav a new tutor....
Yeah, but The Rav also said: "Tanya is a brilliant book, too bad it was wasted on Lubavitch!"
Now THAT'S Brilliant.
