The Revolution Conquers the Beit Midrash

A day and a half before Akiva ben Canaan stormed the Beit Midrash, three recon rangers made their mark.

“The greatest revolution of our generation is the discovery that human beings, by changing the inner attitudes of their minds, can change the outer aspects of their lives”

- William James

The guitar being played by Reb Eli in this picture reached the ultimate level of wholeness the very next day during the purim seuda (through the means of Tobi and Eitan Mintz). It became a prayerful reminder on the wall of the Bloom apartment- asking Hashem to make us whole through our broken-ness, and made an appearance at Eli Mischels wedding. legend has it that it still may be somewhere in Washington Heights- but only Dan Bloom would know for sure.
